We spent the weekend at Shelton's market garden driving tractors and helping out with the work.

Pumpkin Patch photos

We went to the local pumpkin patch and petting zoo with Cora and some friends last weekend.  

Kitchen Remodel

We took out the cabinets over the kitchen peninsula, it made a huge difference.  No more looking at the headless torso on the other side of the room, and the counter-space is actually usable now!  Whee!

Changing Up the Bonus Room

We took the nasty, green shag (from the late 60's) out of the back room.  It was nasty (as in gross and disgusting).  The carpet pad had bonded itself to the floor, so we had to scrape, scrape, and sand the floor, but now it's clean.  I think I picked up a strong latex allergy after sanding and breathing all the dust from the carpet pad.  Oh well, at least we don't feel the need to shower every time we walk into the room.
